Expanding the Boost product offerings

After a user purchases and triggers a Boost, they become a top profile in their area for 30 minutes. With Boost being the most purchased premium feature, we created additional variations that gave users more ways to better get the attention they desired.

Over the past year, multiple iterations were tested and rolled out that led to significant increases in user match rate and Total Cash for Tinder.

Compound Boost

Provided users with the option to layer multiple Boosts, extending their time as a top profile.

  • 10%+ increase in Boost cash and purchases

  • Increased paywall views


Primetime Boost

With Primetime Boost a user’s profile is automatically boosted at the best time of day based on machine-learning algorithms. This enhancement increased the users confidence that Boosts would be successful.

Results

  • Increased number of Matches and Likes when users are in a Primetime Boost session


Boost Subscription

By providing a Boost subscription, we afforded users the ability to consistently utilize the feature.

Boost Wallet

After introducing multiple new Boost products, we introduced an easy way for users to track their inventory and easily purchase more Boosts.
